Couple of cool dogs

Here's Cody, a white Pomerainian. I'd never seen a white one before. He's young, only 2 or 3, and she's thinking about breeding him. A nice dog.

This is Tavi, a poodle I groom once a month.
This is Martini, a new customer for me, and a Maltese. He hadn't been groomed in several months, but was not in too bad condition. Here's before:
Here's after! He's a really nice dog, great disposition and very easy to work on.
Martini came in with this dog, named Diablo. She is a Giant Schnauzer, a breed I had not groomed since I was in grooming school. She is also a very nice dog - great disposition and easy to work on. Schnauzers can have cropped or natural - her's are natural, which is nice to see.
A good weekend. Today I have three small dogs - hopefully get some good pics.

Red haired dogs and more

Isn't he handsome?! He's a smooth coated collie, and just a year old. He's a really nice boy.

Here's a breed I am starting to see more and more of - she is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Here's before - yes, there is supposed to be some eye brow, but not this much...
And after. Much better.
Here's the red-haired dog - a cute little mixed breed named Spirit.
Today was standard poodle day. This is Apollo before - look at that fuzzy face!
And after. Quite a difference!
And this is Gorky. He's only seven months old. Notice all the bronze fuzzy hair he has here.
And how chocolate brown he is here. All that fuzzy topcoat was cut off, and he still has lots of coat left.

Twin dogs of different owners, and another red head

These two look like they could be twins, don't they? One of them is my customer, and one of them is Ba's. Patches is on the left.

Here they both are with me. Pretty funny.
This is Nikko a chow mix that I bathed and groomed yesterday. Her body color is even redder than her head is. We really did match. Nice dog, too.
I had two dogs today, and have three more tomorrow. Things are picking up again before Christmas.

Last week photos.

Last week was almost as busy as the previous couple were. My only slow day was Friday, because I had a cancellation in the morning. That's OK, it gave me time to do some catchup-work at the shop.

Tuesday was Bearded Collie day - this is Muppy, and his "brother" is Jonah.

This is Ferrous. He's a young, very active boy, and is still learning about grooming practices. He will be a year old next week. Happy Birthday, Ferrous! This is his before.
And here's his after, with his mom and dad. Ba says I should take a series of photos of dogs who have the same color hair that I do. I thought that was pretty funny.
This is Ferrous' "sister", Harriet. She is as different from he is as two siblings can be. Stands still like a statue for grooming. She has that beautiful steel gray coat.
I also groomed a couple of ShihTzus, a german shepherd, an old cocker spaniel and more. Tomorrow is a full day, and we will see what the rest of the week brings.
